Community Events

At 40:31 Rehab and Wellness, our mission extends beyond the therapy room. We believe in strengthening the community that supports our children and families every day. Through outreach events like our Annual Food Drive and Sensory Safe Santa Experience, we’re proud to give back, foster connection, and create inclusive spaces where every family feels valued and supported.

Food Drive: Nourishing Bodies and Hearts

The Annual Food Drive at 40:31 Rehab and Wellness brings our community together to support families in need throughout Muskogee, Tulsa, and surrounding areas. Each year, we collect nonperishable food items to help fill local pantry shelves and ensure no family goes hungry during the holidays. Our clinic serves as a drop-off hub, where clients, staff, and families contribute generously. Children are encouraged to participate by sorting donations or decorating boxes, helping them learn the value of empathy and community service. More than just gathering food, the drive is about building connection—neighbors supporting neighbors and families working together to make a difference. Through this annual event, we aim to nourish both bodies and hearts, spreading kindness and compassion throughout the communities we serve.

The Sensory Safe Santa event at 40:31 Rehab and Wellness creates an inclusive, calming holiday experience designed for children with sensory processing challenges. Traditional Santa visits can be overwhelming with bright lights, loud music, and crowded spaces, so our team transforms the environment into a quiet, supportive setting. Families enjoy flexible appointment times, soft lighting, and minimal noise, allowing each child to meet Santa at their own pace. Our therapists and staff ensure that Santa is trained to engage gently and respectfully, honoring each child’s comfort level. Parents often share how meaningful it is to see their child participate in this special tradition without stress or sensory overload. For many, it’s a joyful milestone—one that celebrates inclusion, understanding, and the simple magic of being seen and accepted just as they are.

Building a Connected, Compassionate Community

Both our Food Drive and Sensory Safe Santa embody what 40:31 Rehab and Wellness stands for: community, connection, and care. These events are not just seasonal gatherings—they’re expressions of our ongoing commitment to serving others and fostering inclusion for all children and families.

We invite you to participate—whether by donating food, volunteering, or joining us for our next Sensory Safe Santa event. Together, we can create moments that matter, build traditions that include everyone, and strengthen the community that makes Muskogee and Tulsa such special places to call home.
